DEPARTMENT OF “MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS”

Department of “Management and Business”


The department was founded in 2013 on decision of Eastern University academic council, №6, June 28, 2013.

The department of “Management and business” is one the youngest departments of the university. Academic process is organized according to the State educational standard in “Management” 521500, adopted by the order of Ministry of Education and science, February 1, 2006, №70/1. Registration number 61 B/ humanitarian direction: management, bachelor degree, period of training -4 years.

First management students entered the university in 2008. In the period from 2012 to 2016 the department of “Management” prepared five graduate courses.



A bachelor in Management 580200 gets a deep professional education in the spheres of management, marketing, logistics, strategic management, innovative management, financial management, administrative management, human resource management , anti-recessionary management, theories of the organization, quality management, research system management, information technology management, management decisions, business , conflicts management, negotiating, creative management, interactive business, international management, statistics, management in tourism, ethics of business, marketing management, management of small and medium business, economic decisions making, economy of information business.

A bachelor in “Tourism business management” 580700 gets a deep professional education in the spheres of tourism, business, hotel business, management, organization behavior, human resource management, logistics, finance, macroeconomic, microeconomic, international business, business organization, tourism industry marketing, culture of speech, foreign languages, anti-recessionary management in tourism and excursion activity, business documentation, communication psychology, legal support of tourist activity, kinds of tourist service, business etiquette in foreign languages, business activity in tourism.


A bachelor 580500 gets a profound professional preparation in the spheres of modern information and communicative technologies, information culture, orientation to creative and professional use of achievements of computer technologies, future professional activity, creation and use of database information systems in scientific, analytical research and education.

Fundamental strategic purposes of “Management and business” department of 2013-2016:

  • 1. Formation of competitive multilevel system of preparation and retraining of highly qualified personnel through modernization of educational process.

  • 2. Modernization of research process through tight integration of academic, scientific work in applied directions of the chair.

  • 3. Creation and development of institutes and mechanisms providing realization strategic activity of the chair.

  • 4. Expansion of the directions of research strategic partnership with internal university and external structures (including foreign ones).

  • 5. Development of personnel capacity of the chair, its qualitative characteristics for the fastest adaptation of teachers’ staff to modern imperatives of the educational environment of society in terms of modernization of innovative technologies in educational process in the chair.



“Management and business” department aims at:

  • Providing students with theoretical knowledge, that give profound notion of principals and mechanism of management;

  • Making corrections to educational programs in accordance with changes in society, development of informative-communicative sphere ( modern advertisement technologies, integrated marketing, etc):

  • Introduction of own techniques and modern effective education models:

  • Giving students opportunity of practicing in large state institutions, financial structures and public organizations.
