The Chair of International relations
The chair of International relations and public disciplines gives professional education to specialists-bachelors in the sphere of International relations 530800. During the whole period of tuition students are taught profound course of the Arabic language and literature and the English language to prepare highly- qualified graduates in the sphere of International relations.
Highly qualified professors’ staff work at the chair of International relations: 2 doctors of science, 3 professors, 4 candidates of science, 1 senior teacher. 75% of teaching staff have doctor’s and candidate’s scientific degree.
During the last five years one doctor’s dissertation in history and three candidate’s dissertations were defended. The teaching staff of the chair meets all state standard demands.

The theme of chair’s scientific research “The place of the Kyrgyz Republic in regional policy of Central Asia” is being investigated from various aspects.
- So, doctor of historical sciences Ormushev A.S. works on the origin history of Islamic and takfir currents in Central Asia;
- professor Ibraev A.O. researches educational processes in the countries of Central Asia;
- doctor of political sciences, professor Toktosunova A.I. researches the problem of ethno cultural heritage of Kyrgyz in the formation of national identity;
- candidate of philosophy associate professor Kalimova S.H. works on research of tolerance culture in diplomacy of modern Kyrgyzstan;
- associate professor Kurmanali kyzy M. researches modern educational policy of Kyrgyzstan;
- associate professor Duisheeva R.K. researches problems of political modernization in countries of Central Asia;
- senior teacher Burguev A.A. investigates different regional problems in the sphere of international relations.
Each part of the chair’s scientific work is definite issue of the whole complicated investigation process and practical activity, which is reflected in academic and scientific process and corresponds to a profile of preparation «International relations» 530800.
Professors’ staff of the chair takes an active part in international scientific conferences, symposiums devoted to safety issues of education, history and culture.
To prepare good professionals and to develop mutual relations some accredited diplomatic officials of the Kyrgyz Republic are often invited to Eastern University to lecture.
