THE CENTER OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT






General information about the center of physical culture and sport (year of establishment, history, etc.)


Physical training as a subject belonged to the department of humanitarian and natural disciplines since 1999.
One of the first teachers of physical training was Kharlamov Stanislav Georgiyevich (1999-2000).
Then the subsequent teachers of physical training were:

  • 3. Abdyrasakov Bakyt Bolotbekovich from 2002 – 2014, ski
  • 4. Temirbekov Uran Zhumakanovich 2002-2006, football
  • 5. Beyshenbekov Chynarbek 2001-2002, 2008-2009 football
  • 6. Bushmeleva Olesya Vladimirovna 2003-2004, gymnastics
  • 7. Kiyzbayev Muratbek Sagimbayevich PhD., honored trainer of the KR since 2004, boxing, Toguz korgool
  • 8. Sharshenov Abdyrazak Abdyshovich 2008-2009, judo
  • 9. Armatov Ishenkozho 2008-2009, basketball
  • 10. Akmatov Karmyshaaly Raimovich 2009-2011, free-style wrestling
  • 11. Kaldybek kyzy Aygerim since 2007 gymnastics, acrobatics
  • 12. Sydykbekov Urmat Niyazbekovich, since 2012 volleyball
  • 13. Mayrambek uulu Uhlan since September, 2016 boxing.
In 2005-2006 academic year the department as independent division of Eastern university was transformed into the Center of health and physical training which headed by PhD, the associate professor, the honored trainer of KR Kiyizbayev M. S. was appointed.

In 2006-2007 academic years the center was included into the structure of GandED department.

In 2008-2009 academic years it was transformed to the center of physical culture.

From 2009-2010 academic years it is again included into the structure of OandED department.

From 2013-2014 academic years it was transformed to the center of physical culture and sport again.


For all years on the basis of university sports and mass competitions among teachers and students are held. So, for example, in 2001 under the leadership of the teacher Beyshenbekov Ch. T. the soccer team "Adilet" was formed.

For the first time this team participated in the Universiade – 2002. Since then and till today the university takes active part in the Universiade of HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of Kyrgyz Republic.

Nowadays the university has certain sport traditions. Mass sport events are systematically held. The autumn track and field athletics cross-country, one-day departures to mountains, etc. became traditional.


Employees and the teaching stuff of the university annually participate in the city sport contest "Den Sooluk" among teachers of HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS in Bishkek on chess – Muhammad Ashur, Ryskeldiyev B. M., Abdullaev S., Karynov Ch., Shermatov A.; on table tennis-Kaldybek uulu A., Tashiyeva Zh. K., Kydyraliyeva A., Moldobakirov Z., Syyabekov N., Orozbayev K., Sydykbekov U., Masalbekov I., toguz korgool Kiyzbayev M. S., Abdrasakov B. B, Zhamalbekova G., Usenova R. Nukunov D., Konokbayev N., etc.

More than 20 scientific and methodical works were published by the staff of the department on problems of physical culture and sport. For example M. Kiyzbayev - "The first class in teaching Toguz korgool" (2007), "The first Absolute championship of the Kyrgyz Republic on Toguz korgool " (The manual book on the organization and holding competitions-2007), "Usage of effective remedies of education for a healthy lifestyle of students" (2006), "Methodical features of carrying out a lesson on Toguz korgool " (2005) The History of Ancient Kyrgyz national game - Toguz korgool and its status nowadays(2005), Precompetitive preparation to Toguz korgool (2007), Kiyzbayev M. S. in a co-authorship "National games" (2011) the manual, Kiyzbayev M. S. " Toguz korgool. Training technique" manual (2012), etc.

Each academic stuff and the student make a certain contribution to development and enhancement of sport traditions of the university.

Purposes of the FCandS center

The physical culture in a higher educational institution is an integral part of formation of the general and professional activity of students. It provides pro-filed- physical readiness, means of formation of comprehensively developed personality, a factor of strengthening of health, increasing working capacity, educating of the high physical, moral and strong-willed qualities and applied skills promoting effective implementation of work and ready to protection of the Motherland.

Main objective of physical culture at university is education of harmoniously developed experts, formation of physical culture of the students capable to realize the gained knowledge in social and professional, sports activity in a family.

The course of physical culture provides the solution of the following educational, developing and recreational tasks:
  • need of education for systematic increase in physical fitness in the course of study in HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION, moral and strong-willed qualities, a healthy lifestyle;
  • formation of system of theoretical knowledge and practical abilities in the field of physical culture and sport;
  • ensuring of professional level and applied physical training of students, abilities to use and implementing the gained knowledge in practice for further professional activity, development of professional and significant physical and psychological qualities.
  • full use of means of physical training for prevention of diseases, preservation and promotion of health, mastering abilities on self-controlling in the process of the classes in physical culture;
  • training of students as sport instructors in physical culture and sport, judges of sport;
  • improvement of sport skill of students - athletes;
  • promotion of physical culture and sport
  • .

The practical section includes the following types of program:
  • Gymnastics (rhythmic, athletic);
  • Track and field athletics (run on 100, 400, 800, 1000, 1500 m, a cross-country, long jumps);
  • Sports (football, basketball, volleyball);
  • Table tennis;
  • Toguz-korgool;
  • Chess;
  • Tourism;
  • Ski preparation.
  • For implementation of the current total control and observation of physical fitness of students implementation of the control standards defining development of the main physical qualities by them is provided. Qualifying standards are taken at the beginning of academic year and at the end of each semester.


Practical nonlearning training is given in the following forms:
  • physical exercises in the mode of school day: morning physical exercises, sports pauses, etc.
  • occupations in clubs and groups on interests: fans of runing, athletic gymnastics, types of eastern oriental martial art, etc.
  • the individual physical trainings, exercises, sport and tourism according to the individually made programs of physical self-improvement organized on own initiatives of the students in convenient time at the teacher’s consultation.
  • participation in the mass improving, sports and sport events organized at the university and in the hostels at the place of residence.
  • trainings in teams are organized for the purpose of increasing qualification of those students in sports for whom contents, the volume and intensity of the educational load training in groups of educational departments can't provide the further growth of their sports results.

Trainings are additional, and hold on the basis of voluntary participation of the students. The program of classes in sports sections are formed by teacher-trainers. The number of engagements in sections, regularity and duration of trainings are defined by proceeding the level of sports readiness of engagements, by calendar of internal, interuniversity, republican and international competitions.
